Historian Recreates How Nefertiti And Other Famous Historical Figures Would Look Like Today, The Results Are Stunning.

We have studied them in school, seen them in movies and read them in books, history has had its share of dramatic and imposing personalities that none of us are allowed to forget. There are stories surrounding such figures that have been immortalized yet have we ever wondered what they must have actually looked like. One creative and innovative historian by the name of Becca Saladin has gone and done an amazing job of reviving the features of famous personalities in history.
She started a project in 2019 titled Royalty and she says it gave her immense pleasure seeing Anne Boleyn as a modern woman. She says “I wanted to know if she could come to life from the few pale, flat portraits we have of her. I started the account to satisfy my own curiosity about what members of the past would look like if they were standing right in front of me.”Now you can see what your favorite characters would look like if they lived today in the 21st century and some of them are pretty cool.

This was the most famous bust of Nefertiti excavated and which was believed to have been sculpted in her time. Nefertiti the Egyptian Queen lived between 1370-1330 BBC and was famed for her grace and beauty. She was the wife of Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten who wanted to change Egypt into a monotheistic society.

He needs no introduction as history and Rome’s most famous general and statesman who was unfortunately not liked by his own senators for his suspected policies of wanting to dissolve the republic and give birth to an imperial system. His death immortalized the phrase, “the ides of march.”

16 Alexander the Great

Son of Phillip of Macedonia, Alexander the great is a legendary historical figure famed for his relationship with his beloved horse Bucephalus. Alexander was responsible for increasing the Greek Empire taking his army across mountains right up to India. Saladin says “I did some research on his looks and it is recorded that he had curly golden hair and heterochromia (one eye blue and one eye brown or a combo of both), so he was definitely a striking figure.”
